From writing partner Jason Woliner: "Aziz's power comes from his beard. And his power is to eat unspeakable amounts of food and still be able to shop at 'Tiny Gap.’”

From Parks and Rec co-star Nick Offerman: "He is a very canny PR machine. Aziz is waiting until he has two more hit comedies before releasing the explicit sex tape in which he and R. Kelly make hay with Kim Fields of Tootie fame."

From Amy Poehler: "It was between Aziz Ansari and Jackie Chan for the new Karate Kid movie. That's how good he is at martial arts."

The 71-year-old actor stars as the leader of a family that owns an oil company in Texas. “I sold it to [the network] as Dallas without the cheese,” creator/writer Kyle Killen said (via Salt Lake Tribune).

Lindsay Lohan is free from jail - and before heading to rehab, she had the chance to hug her mom after spending 13 days behind bars.

“I was finally able to hug my daughter [last night] after two long weeks of speaking to her from behind a glass wall,” mom Dina Lohan told RadarOnline. “Lindsay is doing well, and is appreciative of the hundreds of well-wishes she has received.”

“Lindsay is with the utmost professionals and is in very good hands,” Dina added.

Before she headed to Lynwood to complete her sentence, Lindsay posed as adult film star Linda Lovelace for celebrity photographer Tyler Shields. Check out the pictures below!

The Jersey Shore star was taken into police custody after being charged with disorderly conduct.

“Going to bail @Sn00ki out of jail…” co-star Jenni “J-Woww” Farley tweeted Friday afternoon. “The things I do for this girl I swear.”

“She didn't hurt anyone or get in a fight,” a source told People after the incident on Friday. “She just needs to be in a drunk tank for two hours.”

Lea Michele narrowly avoided becoming part of a scary car accident in West Hollywood today!

The 23-year-old Glee star was headed to THR’s Emmy Roundtable at the Chateau Marmont. THR reports:

“While stopped at the intersection, a car running a red light collided with a truck, causing the truck to flip over multiple times before eventually stopping feet from Michele's vehicle. The star immediately exited the car and stepped to safety on the side of the road.”

Everyone involved in the accident was okay, according to authorities. After the incident occurred, Lea tweeted, “Saw a very intense car accident today, everyone was alright, thanks to seat belts. Please remember to always wear them:) Thanks friends.”

The 62-year-old rocker chatted with People before going to an after party at Studio 54 over the weekend, saying he planned to record an album and was “probably going to be a judge on American Idol.”

“I’m doing it,” Steven said of Idol. “What do you think? I’m doing it.”

Steven also poked fun at the recent media mentions, saying, “The rumors are true - I’m pregnant with Joe Perry’s baby.”

Also rumored to be joining the judging panel is Jennifer Lopez.

The 54-year-old actor will play Pepper, an older pal of Mitchell and Cameron’s, in an episode coming this fall. Pepper, a flamboyant friend, was mentioned last season.

Executive producer Steven Levithan told USA Today that Nathan approached producers himself and that he fits the role perfectly, but that the show’s trying to cut back on “stunt casting”.

“[W]e don’t want to turn into a guest of the week,” Steven said. “The audience loves our characters and we have enough of them!”

The Beginning: Black Eyed Peas' New Album!

As a follow-up to their multiplatinum The E.N.D., The Black Eyed Peas are currently putting the finishing touches on their new album The Beginning.

“It symbolizes growth, new beginnings and starts, fresh new perspective,” Will.i.am told AP of The Beginning, which is expected to be released by the end of the year.

BEP’s No. 1 hit “I Gotta Feeling” also crossed the 6 million mark in digital downloads.

“It’s a positive, feel-good song at the time where there’s question marks and uncertainty,” Will added. “People want to be reminded that it’s going to be all right.”
