Fantasia belts out “Bittersweet,” the new single off her third album Back to Me, on Tuesday (August 24) inside the Good Morning America studio in NYC.

The 26-year-old singer returned to the stage for the first time since her hospitalization and overdose earlier this month.

“I think I was just overloaded with everything, with carrying six years of so much,” the season 3 American Idol champ told GMA anchor Robin Roberts. “I always take a licking and keep on ticking…it just became heavy for me to the point that I just wanted to be away from the noise.”

“There’s so much that people don’t understand. They just see the glitz and the glamour, and they feel like life is so perfect, but we’re human and we go through things,” she said.

Jake Pavelka competes in the Tag the World charity celebrity Biathlon on Sunday (August 22) in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Tag the World is a non-profit organization with a mission to raise awareness and funds for five global causes: Cancer, Africa, Global Green, Children and Animals.

The 32-year-old shirtless Bachelor has been training hard for the biathlon over the last few weeks and reportedly did very well in the competition! He tweeted, “[Biathlon] was Great this morning! I felt so blessed to be competing in Hawaii!”

After promoting her on-and-off-again boyfriend Justin Long’s new comedy Going the Distance, Drew picked up some healthy groceries at the Natural Choice market before returning to her hotel with her dog.

The 22-year-old actress was recently asked if her relationship with husband Mike Comrie has always been smooth sailing. Hilary told OK!, “Of course we annoy each other, but we don’t fight. Patience is a big thing. There are little things — I hate the way he drives, and I feel like yelling at him every time I’m in the car — but I just let it go.”

Lindsay Lohan: Bye Bye, Rehab!

Lindsay Lohan was released from UCLA Neuropsychiatric Hospital in Los Angeles on Tuesday (August 24) after 23 days in rehab.

The 24-year-old actress was originally ordered by Judge Marsha Revel to three months of in-patient treatment but will continue to receive outpatient care.

Last month, Lindsay only served 13 full days of a 90-day jail sentence thanks to good behavior and severe overcrowding.

Lindsay is a free woman!!!

Check out the new teaser trailer for the upcoming James Franco movie, 127 Hours, directed by Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire).

Pic is the true story of mountain climber Aron Ralston's (Franco) remarkable adventure to save himself after a fallen boulder crashes on his arm and traps him in an isolated canyon in Utah. Before cutting off the lower part of his right arm with a dull knife, Ralston recalls friends, lovers (Clemence Poesy), family, and the two hikers (Amber Tamblyn and Kate Mara) he met before his accident.

The actress has been in town shooting Scream 4 and celebrated with her brother Jansen and her castmates Adam Brody, Emma Roberts, Neve Campbell and Anthony Anderson.

Beacher’s Madhouse creator Jeff Beacher and David Arquette threw the four-story circus and had the entire cast of their show flown out from the Roosevelt Hotel — Oompa Loompas, burlesque dancers, stilt walkers, fire breathers, acrobats, and 7-foot tall chickens and sheep. Crazy!!!

A "Happy Birthday Hayden" fireworks display went off as the local fire department paraded up and down the block. The Mayor of Ann Arbor John Hieftje also gave Hayden the key to city for her charity work. What a birthday!!!

FYI: Hayden’s boyfriend Wladimir Klitschko was unable to attend — he’s been at training camp in preparation for his September 11th fight against Nigeria’s Samuel Peter in Frankfurt, Germany.

Jessica Alba to Star in 'Spy Kids 4'

Jessica Alba is in negotiations to star in Spy Kids 4: All the Time in the World, a reboot of the popular series, according to THR.

The film will revolve around a retired spy (Jessica) who is the mother of a baby and two preteen stepchildren. The spy is reactivated and her stepchildren will serve as the new “spy kids.”

It is expected that the film’s original stars Alexa Vega, Daryl Sabara, and Antonio Banderas will return in supporting roles. The film is set to start shooting next month and be directed by Robert Rodriguez, who Jessica worked with in the upcoming flick Machete.

Blair is too structured and perfect, Serena is always glammed up. Vanessa's waaaay too much with every color and pattern. It sounds like I'm being negative about them all, but I'm not – I think they all look great. But if I was going to go shopping for [me], I'd head straight into Jenny's closet.”

On potential Season Four plot lines: “I keep saying they have to bring in other characters because how many times can six characters date and hook up with each other before it gets real old?”

On filming at 2 am in a lake for her new movie, Piranhas 3D: “I was actually like, I'm going to be attacked!”
