After all, he did write the song with its producer, Toby Gad. The vid was shot in the middle of the Californian desert in 110 degree weather! Kris is currently opening for the Maroon 5 tour. Posted: 17 Aug 2010 10:10 PM PDT  Hayden Christensen shows his love for his home country by wearing a hat sporting the Canadian maple leaf while walking through LA’s LAX airport on Tuesday (August 17). Yesterday, the 29-year-old Canadian actor appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live and gave an update on the farm he’s been building in Toronto, Canada. “I don’t have alpacas yet but I’ve got about a dozen sheep and they just wander around. On Monday, August 30 @ 9pm ET/PT, TLC will air the new one-hour Kate Plus 8 special “The Big Apple” where Kate and the kids are traveling to NY – by train! The Gosselins will visit Chinatown, Times Square, and even the Statue of Liberty. Hopefully we’ll see Kate at The Emmys!

| Alexander Skarsgard Doesn't Wear A Sock During Nude Scenes Posted: 17 Aug 2010 08:10 PM PDT  Alexander Skarsgard tells Rolling Stone that he doesn’t mind being in the buff while shooting sex scenes for True Blood. (He’s on the mag’s cover with co-stars Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin.) Here are some select quotes from the 33-year-old Swedish god: On his vampire character: "I like to think about Eric like he's a male lion. He On staying mysterious: “I don’t want people to know too much about me. It's easier for people to suspend disbelief that way. There's a risk when people see you in a part and they're watching Alexander Skarsgard. Also, I learned from my father to keep your integrity and protect your family – there are certain things that you can talk about and certain things you shouldn't talk about." On not wearing a sock while shooting nude scenes: "I don't want a sock around it, that feels ridiculous. If we're naked in the scene, then I'm naked. I've always been that way." True Blood creator Alan Ball on how ridiculous celibate vampires are: "To me, vampires are sex. I don't get a vampire story about abstinence. I'm 53. I don't care about high school students. I find them irritating and uninformed."

Posted: 17 Aug 2010 06:10 PM PDT  Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block are close to signing a deal with Live Nation Entertainment to tour together this Spring, according to E!. The tour, which is described to be an evening of Expendables-meets-boy-band, is even searching for a third group to join the fun, with Boyz II Men being at the top of the list. Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block joined the stage together last June at Radio City Music Hall for an impromptu performance of the Backstreet classic, “I Want It That Way.” The management teams for both groups are even trying to get the boys together to record a single before the start of the tour! WOULD YOU GO TO a BSB-NKOTB concert in your town?

The 31-year-old Maroon 5 frontman is launching 222, his first collection, in Las Vegas this week. "I'm passionate about fashion. I think it says something about yourself and, whether you care about clothes or not, what you wear reflects some kind of attitude towards style," Adam told WWD. The collection is “a minimalistic line of jeans, basic t-shirts and leather jackets.” Expect to see silk dresses and wraps for women, too! | Brooklyn Decker: Battleship's Newest Star! Posted: 17 Aug 2010 12:50 PM PDT  Brooklyn Decker has been cast in the upcoming action-adventure Battleship, in theaters May 2012. The 23-year-old Sports Illustrated cover model will star alongside Rihanna and on-screen brothers Taylor Kitsch (Friday Night Lights) and Alexander Skarsgard (True Blood). The flick, which will be helmed by actor/director Peter Berg, is based on the adaptation of Hasbro's naval combat board game. The naval fleet that must defend their planet from alien invaders! In a few weeks, Battleship will star production in Hawaii. Brooklyn was just there shooting the comedy Just Go With It alongside Adam Sandler, Nicole Kidman and Jennifer Aniston.

Here are some choice quotes: Stephen on the allure of vampires: "If we go from a base level, vampires create a hole in the neck where there wasn't one before. It's a de-virginization – breaking the hymen, creating blood and then drinking the virginal blood. And there's something sharp, the fang, which is probing and penetrating and moving into it. So that's pretty sexy. I think that makes vampires attractive. (laughs) Plus, Robert Pattinson is just hot, right?" The floods have already displaced nearly 20 million residents but has not received as much media attention as the Haitian earthquake. “It is getting hard for people — they see Haiti, they see these other events … and they get exhausted by the time another big one rolls around,” Angelina said (via THR). | Heidi Montag's Plastic Surgeon Killed in Car Crash Posted: 17 Aug 2010 08:10 AM PDT  Dr. Frank Ryan - the Beverly Hills plastic surgeon most famous for Heidi Montag’s new look — died in a car crash on Monday afternoon. According to TMZ, he was killed after his jeep went over the side of the Pacific Coast Highway at 4:33 p.m. on August 16. Late last year, Dr. Ryan performed TEN plastic surgery procedures on Heidi in one day. You can read Dr. Ryan’s tweets minutes before the crash @DrFrankRyan. Creepy! UPDATE: Heidi has updated her Twitter: “I am devastated to hear the news of Dr. Frank Ryan’s death. He was the most amazing person I have ever known.
